È un Borgo molto antico, bello da visitare e ben tenuto. È la città dove è nato il grande poeta Orazio, l'8 dicembre del 65 a.C. e, visitandola, trovi la casa dove ha vissuto, la piazza a Lui intestata e molte altre opere riguardanti il poeta. Molto bello il castello, la cattedrale e tutto il borgo antico.
Venosa is an Italian town of 11 863 inhabitants in the province of Potenza, in Basilicata and is part of the municipalities registered in the association "The most beautiful villages in Italy". It is a very old village, beautiful to visit and well kept. It is the city where the great poet Horace was born on 8 December 65 BC. and, visiting it, you will find the house where he lived, the square in his name and many other works concerning the poet. The castle, the cathedral and the whole ancient village are very beautiful.
