★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Struttura urbanistica quadrangolare gerarchica compatta con tre porte. Il borgo di Servigliano ha una storia lunga e complessa. Il paese originario era collocato sulle alture, e il suo nome derivava da un romano Servilius. Nel 1771 il paese franò e fu ricostruito da Papa Clemente XIV prendendo in suo onore il nome di Castel Clementino. La costruzione proseguì sotto Pio VI. Con l'unità d'Italia, il paese riprese la sua denominazione. Con la prima guerra mondiale, a Servigliano fu costruito un grande campo di prigionia che fu usato in maniere diverse fino al 1955, condizionando la vita del borgo.
Compact hierarchical quadrangular urban structure with three doors. The village of Servigliano has a long and complex history. The original country was located on the heights, and its name derived from a Roman Servilius. In 1771 the village collapsed and was rebuilt by Pope Clement XIV taking in his honor the name of Castel Clementino. Construction continued under Pius VI. With the unification of Italy, the country resumed its name. With the First World War, a large prison camp was built in Servigliano which was used in different ways until 1955, conditioning the life of the village.
