★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ortezzano è un tranquillo paese che si sviluppa su un pendio collinare lungo la valle del fiume Aso. Il suo borgo antico ha saputo mantenere la sua identità e bellezza rispetto alla parte nuova e più recente del paese. La torre pentagonale è il monumento più rappresentativo, essa è la testimonianza che un tempo qui sorgeva un castello, Il borgo offre suggestivi vicoli stretti su cui si affacciano case in pietra o in cotto, piccoli sottopassi caratteristici e brevi scalinate. Si nota un certo inevitabile abbandono però il tutto risulta piacevole perché non decadente, ordinato e pulito. Diverse sono le abitazioni che abbelliscono i vicoli con piante e fiori, il tutto in un contesto che riporta ad altri tempi, pochi sono gli abitanti che si incontrano così come le auto che circolano. Peccato che il municipio si stato ristrutturato in stile neoclassico, stile completamente diverso rispetto al resto del borgo.
 Ortezzano is a quiet town that develops on a hilly slope along the Aso river valley. Its ancient village has been able to maintain its identity and beauty compared to the new and more recent part of the country. The pentagonal tower is the most representative monument, it is the testimony that a castle once stood here.The village offers suggestive narrow alleys overlooked by stone or terracotta houses, small characteristic underpasses and short stairways. There is a certain inevitable abandonment, however, everything is pleasant because it is not decadent, tidy and clean. There are several houses that embellish the alleys with plants and flowers, all in a context that takes you back to other times, few are the inhabitants who meet as well as the cars that circulate. Too bad that the town hall has been renovated in a neoclassical style, a completely different style from the rest of the village.
