★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non mi sarei mai aspettata di trovare, in un paese così piccolo, la pregevole collezione di arte contemporanea ospitata nelle sale del Municipio, assieme alla Museo del Bufu ed a mostre temporanee veramente interessanti. Complimenti!

Un pueblo en el centro de Italia súper tranquilo, con unas vistas divinas, con una arquitectura congelada en el tiempo pero correctamente mantenida... sobre todo cuentan con el bar de Roxy, una genia! Tiene un bar muy sencillo pero con una comida y atención exquisita. En el mes de Agosto pueden aprovechar su festival de cine.
City of my grandparents! A super quiet town in the center of Italy, with divine views, with architecture frozen in time but properly maintained ... above all they have Roxy's bar, a genius! Nel 217 a.C. venne inutilmente assediata dai Romani, ma, era in corso la Seconda guerra Punica, e venne conquistata dai Cartaginesi di Annibale. I Cartaginesi si approvviggionarono di frumento e vettovaglie. Dopo una sanguinosa battaglia con migliaia di Romani morti, caduti nella morsa di Annibale, furtivamente i Cartaginesi, di notte, lasciando fuochi accesi, anche per la distruzione perpetrata a Gerione, si recarono verso la Puglia, a Canne (della Battaglia). Da approfondire se Gerione è parte della mitologia greca.
Casacalenda, ancient Kalena, ancient Geryon (Geronium, Hieronimum).
