Raccontato da Guareschi nei suoi libri tramite i suoi personaggi Don Camillo e Peppone, da cui sono tratti i bellissimi film con Gino Cervi e Fernandel.Raccontano di un Italia che ormai non c'è più e dei conflitti dei suoi personaggi.Merita sicuramente una visita.
Small town in the Reggiano area, located along the Po River. Told by Guareschi in his books through his characters Don Camillo and Peppone, from which the beautiful films with Gino Cervi and Fernandel are drawn, they tell of an Italy that is no longer there and of the conflicts of its characters. Definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il comune diede i natali a Sir Anthony Panizzi,l' unico MBE prodotto dalla regione in 2 secoli,fondatore della Biblioteca del British Museum ed il più grande costituzionalista,secondo solo al Bagehot....Oggi i funzionari del comune,tutti mafiosi,sono sotto processo. Prossima udienza 25 gennaio 2022.Pazzesco. Aggiungo che malgrado il Commissariamento del Comune per mafia,il 4 7 2020 venivo sequestrato presso il mio domicilio dal mafiosissimo sindaco Benassi, armi alla mano. Trascorrevo così 24 ore di terrore in una struttura fatiscente di Reggio Emilia,fino alla liberazione.

E come se non bastasse i bar con bagni non accessibili per distanziamento ( come ci è stato detto da due proprietari di qui uno vicino alle poste)
Se tutto questo è a dimostrazione di aiutare il prossimo siamo messi bene
Auguro a chi ha negato l'accesso hai servuzi igienici ad una persona di 68 anni di trovarsi nella stessa sua situazione CHE VERGOGNA
Finding closed public toilets in this period of covid is a real shame.
And as if that weren't enough the bars with bathrooms not accessible due to distance (as we were told by two owners of here one near the post office)
If all this proves to help others, we are in good shape
I wish those who denied access you have toilet facilities to a 68-year-old person to be in the same situation as him WHAT A SHAME

A must for all fans of the Don Camillo films. Next to the church is the famous town hall, which is still used as such today.

Sono stato a vedere questo luogo con la mia ragazza durante la festa per i 60 anni dell'AVIS Comunale di Brescello. L'edificio si trova nella piazza centrale del paese. Il municipio è stato reso famoso dai celebri film di Don Camillo e Peppone. La facciata esterna è quella mostrata nelle pellicole della saga.

I went to see this place with my girlfriend during the 60th anniversary party of the AVIS Comunale in Brescello. The building is located in the central square of the town.
