Exhibition on Chagall - The Bible. Free admission as it was the last day of the exhibition. Professional and friendly staff. Exhibition with attention to the smallest detail. I would have preferred some background music. Hope to return soon ?

Monumental complex. Museum where there are finds from shared eras, such as Byzantine, Roman, Napoleonic. You can find a myriad of archaeological finds from the distant 1500s and from other eras. Heartfelt congratulations.

Escher La Calabria, the myth: interesting exhibition with some pieces that I had never seen before live. Access to the exhibition was problematic because the ticket office is located on a different floor from the entrance and is not well signposted. The exhibition begins with an interesting video about Escher's life and works that I had a hard time following because at the ticket office some people laughed and joked quite loudly, not giving a damn who comes in to contemplate the works of art. Going forward we found 3 works whose titles have been affixed to the right of the works themselves but in a confusing way that does not respect the arrangement of the works themselves. Continuous reflections of the lights on the glass of the works, no heating inside the rooms or bathrooms: we left the museum literally frozen! Difficulty in enjoying the exhibition due to 2 uncontrolled schoolchildren whose me bri screamed, moved face on the screens of mobile phones regardless of those present and no one who put them back in line for a moment. When their guide saw us getting close to a work of art, we sling in front of us to show off the 4 notions learned by heart without waiting for us to finish looking at the hanging works. Last but not least, it was not possible to pay with a teacher bonus because, according to the girl at the ticket office, it can only be used online by purchasing the ticket days before ... What a scandalous thing because we are in 2019 and we would live to be able to buy a ticket even 2 seconds before entering a museum. If it weren't for my love for Escher I would have left without visiting the exhibition! Bad experience not to be repeated. Icing on the cake ... Having emerged from the beauties of Escher, you find yourself slinged between 2 walls of 'donated' works and without any connection to the current exhibition, not to say anything else ... 3 however, an excessive cost for the number of works on display.

Wonderful panoramic point dell'centro city. The gaze is lost on the horizon from the sea to the hinterland. Also there is the opportunity to visit the historical archive, and enjoy the last tower of what was the ancient castle of Catanzaro

Visited on the occasion of the exhibition of Chagall's works "The Bible". The complex is an architectural jewel in the heart of the city. From the belvedere you can enjoy a wide-ranging panorama.

Entering the city from the east or west, after Piazza Matteotti, Corso Mazzini begins. I walk only 100 m and I meet the monumental complex of San Giovanni. It stands on what was the Norman castle, built by Roberto il Guiscardo. Then a convent of the Discalced Carmelites was founded, then again it was used as a prison. For about two decades, after a restoration, it has been open to the public. In addition to the external beauty, from the surrounding walls, you can enjoy a large part of the panorama of the city from the top, with the Bisantis Bridge below me. Pure spectacle for the visitor.
