★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Con orgoglio rivendichiamo...passati ormai anni..di aver concepito..voluto..combattuto ed alfine progettato e fatto realizzare a nostre spese un doveroso tributo ad un grande attore e uomo..dimenticato da tutti quelli che lo avevano osannato..istituzioni in primis. La targa la abbiamo pagata w montata con i nostri soldi e le nostre mani...questa non vuole essere una ostentazione..ma dopo aver visto farcisi belli tanti personaggi che non gli hanno mai portato una corona o un fiore..beh..che la verità sia di pubblico dominio. Alberto..meritava memoria delle sue origini...e perdipiu Trasteverine
 We proudly claim ... years now passed ... to have conceived ... wanted ... fought and finally planned and had a dutiful tribute to a great actor and man ... forgotten by all those who had praised him ... institutions first and foremost. We paid for the plaque w mounted with our money and our hands ... this does not want to be an ostentation .. but after seeing so many beautiful characters who have never brought him a crown or a flower .. well .. that the truth is in the public domain. Alberto .. deserved memory of his origins ... and lost in Trasteverine

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Targa commemorativa che i trasteverini hanno dedicato a uno dei più importanti e amati attori italiani che ebbe proprio qui le sue origini. Una casa che ora non c'è più. Rimane il ricordo vivo di un personaggio istrionico che ha caratterizzato il nostro cinema. Orgoglio di TUTTI gli italiani. Gli è stata dedicata una stupenda galleria che collega piazza Santi Apostoli con Piazza Colonna. Viva il nostro Albertone nazionale.
Commemorative plaque that the inhabitants of Trastevere dedicated to one of the most important and beloved Italian actors who had their origins right here. A house that is now gone. The living memory of a histrionic character that has characterized our cinema remains. Pride of Italians ALL. He has been given a wonderful gallery that connects Piazza Santi Apostoli with Piazza Colonna. Long live our national Alberton.
