Per chi, come me, è un novello del ciclismo questa metà è una tappa da non perdere: da Sampeyre 18km di salita con panorami sulla valle maira e varaita
Reference point for many cyclists, motorcyclists and hikers. Very nice panoramic point but above all also the path to reach it is very suggestive. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tipico colle montano sulle montagne sopra Cuneo, si vede benissimo il Monte Viso o Monviso, sempre se le nuvole non fanno da cappello, ma spesso basta aspettare qualche decina di minuti che i venti le portano via. Passando sia da Elva che da Sampeyre la strada non è delle più belle in quanto è un pò stretta ma guidando con prudenza e pazienza la si fa benissimo, se ci si sofferma sopra al colle il panorama è mozzafiato e non è detto che vediate anche qualche marmotta
Typical mountain hill on the mountains above Cuneo, Monte Viso or Monviso can be seen very well, always if the clouds do not act as a hat, but often it is enough to wait a few tens of minutes for the winds to take them away. Passing both from Elva and from Sampeyre the road is not the most beautiful as it is a little narrow but driving with caution and patience it is very good, if you stop on the hill the view is breathtaking and it is not certain that you will also see some marmot

Beautiful hill, covered on May 1st by MTB, making the route of the cannons. Otherwise the pass is not yet accessible by car due to snow
