Quest'area vivace è dominata da un padiglione in stile Art Nouveau situato alla fine di un molo. Chioschi gastronomici stagionali e ristoranti gourmet fiancheggiano la spiaggia e le strade dell'ex borgo dei pescatori di Mondello Paese. La vicina Riserva di Capo Gallo offre sentieri escursionistici e ampie vedute sul mare.
 The picturesque Mondello seaside neighborhood is renowned for its namesake beach, a long sandy beach with several points where you can rent sun beds and equipment for water sports. This area is dominated by a vibrant Art Nouveau pavilion located at the end of a pier. seasonal and gourmet restaurants Food Stands line the beach and the streets of the former fishing village of Mondello country. The nearby reserve of Capo Gallo offers hiking trails and sweeping views of the sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a nice stroll on a sunny winter day, with a few trying a first swimming into cold water!
Still there are some liberty style villas but also some ugly concrete obscenities too tall so ruining the view.
Both main squares by the sea, need renovation as there are old commercial activities abandoned in decadent conditions.
