★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Riserva bellissima ma in totale stato di abbandono. Per questo di una sola stella. I sentieri sono abbandonati a se stessi, soprattutto dopo gli ultimi incendi. Chi frequenta questi sentieri sa benissimo che non sono in sicurezza...alberi abbattuti dal vento. Mi auguro che venga fatto al più presto qualcosa.
Beautiful reserve but in a total state of abandonment. For this of a single star. The paths are abandoned to themselves, especially after the last fires. Those who frequent these paths know very well that they are not safe ... trees felled by the wind. I hope something will be done soon.

Nehmt ausreichend Getränke mit, es gibt unterwegs (wie oft üblich) keinen Brunnen.
A great walking tour with great views of Palermo on one side and Mandello on the other.
Take enough drinks with you, there is no fountain on the way (as is often the case).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schönes Naturreservat. Ideal für ruhige Wanderungen, wenn einem der Lärm von Palermo zu viel wird. Leider versperren aktuell viele Bäume den Weg, sodass man kleine Umwege laufen und muss, die jedoch gut machbar sind.
Nice nature reserve. Ideal for quiet hikes when the noise of Palermo gets too much. Unfortunately, a lot of trees are currently blocking the way, so you have to make small detours, which are, however, doable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno spazio naturale grande dentro la città. Peccato non sia curato adeguatamente dalla Forestale. Troppo pini secchi, abbattuti ancora lì e se viene in incendio questa legna secca fa da carburante. Spero si decidano a togliere i pini abbattuti prima del prossimo incendio.
A large natural space within the city. Too bad it is not properly cared for by the Forestry. Too many dry pines, still felled there, and if it catches fire this dry wood serves as fuel. I hope they decide to remove the felled pines before the next fire.

Scorci inestimabili anche dal lato Mondello, purtroppo ancora chiuso.

Invaluable glimpses also from the Mondello side, unfortunately still closed.
