β β β β β It's just awesome! Be sure that you visit this place while you are in Trieste. I visited this place just before I left Trieste. So I had kind of thought that I could have visited this museum a couple of times to learn and explore more. Anyways, I strongly recommend this museum ?

β β β β β I took my baby boy (19 m.o) here, and he was so excited. Unfortunately, nothing he could touch, except one dinosaur's skull (?) which could make a sound when we touched it.
I really like this place. It has many collections.

β β β β β Great experience! Visited with small kids (age 3,5,7) and they enjoyed it ! We as parents had of course to explain whats going on, but they were interested in exhibition. Most of all we enjoyed dinosaur, fish( whale and shark) and elephant. Recomended to visit!

β β β β β Very well and interesting museum, especially for kids. On the ground floor there is mainly old style "wonder chambers" while on the top floor there is very educative rooms explaining different aspects of natural history.
Mind that the museum sends away visitors fifteen minutes before its official closing hours.

β β β β β It would be advisable to show the ticket office opening times , more so than the museum opening times . That way one could actually enter the museum . Two and a half hours before it closes, seems a little bit long for me .
