Don't book it, it's a total waste of money. I wish I have read these reviews earlier.

Not enough buses, if you like waiting and letting the it impact on your trip buy a ticket from them! Alternatively use another bus operator.

Very good tour. But at some places even we felt (like many others who've reviewed) that there's a mismatch between commentary and location. Staff are very friendly.

If you consider getting around by bus choose a different bus company!! The City Sightseeing Hop on/Hop off is oficially working until 7 but is already taking many busses off service around 5.30p.m. we entered the bus at Vatikan stop to use the last 2 hours of operation for a full round tour but just 3 stops later they told us to get off at one of the terminals because the bus we were on went out of service. They told us another one was just about to come but all the busses just drove past the station without stopping. It took 40 minutes till a bus came that was not going out of service or not taking more passengers due to being overloaded...

At 23 euros would not describe it as good value for money. The tour has 8 stops but as previous reviewers have put most are not actually close to the locations themselves. When trying to listen to the tour about 70% of the time it was just music and when it did give information it either seemed to be too early for the location or too late. I spent a lot of time just trying to find the place that was being talked about rather than enjoying the tour. Didn't try any of the other bus tours but doubt they can be worse than this.

Great way to see Rome Paid 23 Euros for the ride and rode twice in one day. Got off and saw the coliseum.

We were in Rome mid October 2019. Waiting waiting and some more waiting for the bus to leave at Termini Station (35 minutes). During our city tour, there were several stops that some people couldn't join the bus because it was full. Lines/queues everywhere, you are afraid to get off the bus because you aren't sure if you are getting back on. But you have to, after spending most of the afternoon at the Vatican there is a long walk back to the nearest bus station and suprise suprise suprise there is a line of 75 - 100 people for the Red bus only. No lines with any of the other companies. Tired and ready to get back to our hotel it took an hour before we entered a bus. Not sure if it's a management issue in Rome, but didn't have this problem in other major cities with the same company.

I did the Naples/ Pompeii tour in August and it was one of my favourite tours. It’s a long day but I felt we were well looked after the whole time. Our tour included a walking tour of the Pompeii ruins. It’s a big place and we covered a small area but very interesting part of the town. It would take a full day to cover the whole place. We were given a lovely lunch nearby and then taken to Naples for their hop on hop off tour which gave a great run down on interesting parts of the town. I had a great day and would recommend.
