★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il borgo antico di Pontremoli è molto bello. Racchiude in se tanta magia e ti fa rivivere nel passato. Molto suggerstiva la visita alla cattedrale, la piazza del Duomo e piazza della Repubblica dove ha peraltro la sede il Comune di Pontremoli. Un locale storico assolutamente da non perdere è il Caffè degli Svizzeri situato in pieno centro storico che produce tutt'oggi i pasticcini tipici del luogo dal nome romantico, gli Amor.
The ancient village of Pontremoli is very beautiful. It contains a lot of magic and makes you relive in the past. The visit to the cathedral, the Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Repubblica where the Municipality of Pontremoli has its headquarters, was very suggestive. A historic place not to be missed is the Caffè degli Svizzeri located in the historic center which still produces the typical pastries of the place with a romantic name, the Amor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comune medievale bellissimo e caratteristico. È stato molto eccitante girare tra i stretti vicoli, scoprire angoli nascosti e piazze minuscole. È un connubio di architettura medievale di confine tra Liguria, Toscana ed Emilia.
Beautiful and characteristic medieval town. It was very exciting to wander through the narrow streets, discover hidden corners and tiny squares. It is a combination of medieval architecture on the border between Liguria, Tuscany and Emilia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La nostra è stata una visita di poche ore ma il borgo, il castello e la sua piazza duomo ci hanno incantato. Mi piange il cuore però vedere anche qui tanti negozietti chiusi che darebbero ancora più vita al luogo che non merita di essere abbandonato. Se potrò in futuro mi fermerò più a lungo.
Ours was a visit of a few hours but the village, the castle and its cathedral square enchanted us. My heart is crying, however, to see here too many closed shops that would give even more life to the place that doesn't deserve to be abandoned. If I can in the future I will stay longer.
