It is worth going to the balcony of the town hall (admission free). A good place for a panoramic view of the city center and for a photo of the sweep tower.

β β β β β Modica Γ¨ una cittΓ molto antica con diverse chiese molto belle. S. Pietro e il Duomo meritano particolarmente d'essere visitate. Il Duomo chiude alle 20,00.
Nelle vicinanze bar, ristoranti, pizzerie e negozi dove acquistare la famosa cioccolata ed altri prodotti tipici. Volendo c'Γ¨ anche la possibilitΓ di fare un giro turistico su un simpatico trenino.
Modica is a very old city with several very beautiful churches. S. Pietro and the Duomo particularly deserve to be visited. The Duomo closes at 20.00.
Nearby bars, restaurants, pizzerias and shops where you can buy the famous chocolate and other typical products. If you want, there is also the possibility of taking a tour on a nice little train.

Words cannot describe the beauty of this city. It may be small in area, but it has an incredible amount of history, gastronomy & vistas; that are difficult to compare with others in the area, & beat. If you can avoid this area during the weekends, please do (or arrive early, come later, as the locals do). Don't misunderstand me, it's still fantastic, & worth the visit, but the large amount of tour buses that are here from 08:00-18:00, especially on weekends, can be a deterrent for a beautiful & enjoyable visit or even stay. If you enjoy Baroque architecture & walking the smaller streets, & really don't mind getting lost you 'will' enjoy Modica. I just can't say enough, or be specific, about this beautiful hidden treasure
