Il paese è tuttora circondato da campi coltivati, che lo isolano da strade provinciali piuttosto trafficate. Per questo vi si respira un’atmosfera pulita oltre che tranquilla e serena. La passeggiata attraverso il Borgo ed attorno al Castello è d’obbligo, ma lungo l’estremità del Colle di San Giovanni Battista si trovano piacevoli passeggiate praticamente piane, percorribili anche da anziani. Una di queste raggiunge una sella, dove si scollina verso il Parco Tomenone nel Comune di Bagnatica. Più impegnativa è la salita lungo il sentiero, che raggiunge i ruderi della Torre del Colle di San Giovanni Battista. Pretty village grew up around the small medieval village below the Camozzi Vertova Castle. The country is still surrounded by cultivated fields, which isolate it from rather busy provincial roads. This is why you breathe a clean atmosphere as well as quiet and peaceful. The walk through the village and around the Castle is a must, but along the edge of the Colle di San Giovanni Battista you can find pleasant walks practically flat, passable even by the elderly. One of these reaches a saddle, where it descends towards the Tomenone Park in the Municipality of Bagnatica. More challenging is the climb along the path, which reaches the ruins of the Torre del Colle of San Giovanni Battista.

Giorgio. In questi giorni il paese, di circa 3000 abitanti si anima e si riempie di turisti,di arte, musica e buon cibo. I visited this small town on the occasion of the cultural event "Magie al Borgo" which takes place every year at the end of April, near the anniversary of the city's patron saint, S. Giorgio. In these days the town, of about 3000 inhabitants, comes alive and is filled with tourists, art, music and good food.
