I had a wonderful impression from the new parish priest, a prepared and enthusiastic young man. I was very impressed with his homilies. He will do great things for the parish but ... he needs a little younger collaborators .....

This is the Roman parish of Cardinal Jeong Jin-seok, Nicolao, the Catholic Cardinal of the Republic of Korea. Cardinals from all over the world are appointed in Rome as the nominated priests of one parish.
The crest of Pope Francis is hung on the left side of the building entrance and Cardinal Jin-seok Jeong's crest is on the right.

β β β β β Potrebbero fare molta piΓΉ opera di sensibilizzazione e cultura civica. Davanti al loro portone Γ¨ un caos senza senso di auto ammucchiate e una persona sulla sedia a rotelle non puΓ² accedere 90 volte su 100.
Poi frequentata da gente che mette quieta la coscienza assolvendo il precetto... Ma ignorando il fratello in necessitΓ di accedere. Quando mi sono rivolta in questo senso al parroco la sua risposta Γ¨ stata: "Signora io non faccio mica il vigile". Vedete un po' voi se questa Γ¨ una risposta da dare a chi chiede un po' di rispetto. Ma a questa parrocchia interessa piuttosto il proselitismo. Per il resto il solito problema. Ciascuno guardi il suo interesse.

β β β β β Mass is celebrated, according to the parish website (May 2019):
Weekdays 18:30; Sundays and Solemnities 9:30, 11:00.
This is a very Fifties church, a good design for its period and with high quality stained glass and mosaics. it wasn't built as a parish church, but as a part of a rather loony megalomaniac scheme for a huge convent by the Suore dell'Immacolata Concezione di Lourdes. The public access is hence awkward.
The church of San Leone is just down the road, and the rumour is that this one here will be shut by the Diocese if it ever falls into disrepair (unfortunately, Fifties churches tend to start letting the weather in after half a century).
