★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nel percorrere in discesa la strada, che da Precasaglio riporta a Ponte di Legno (passeggiata adatta a vecchietti ottantenni quali noi siamo) abbiamo visitato la Chiesa di San Giovanni, molto luminosa, ben curata e conservata e ricca di opere d'arte, quali l'Altare ligneo con statue dipinte dai colori vivaci. Accanto alla Chiesa si trova una Cappella, che un tempo faceva parte del vecchio cimitero. Curioso il fatto, che questa conserva numerosi teschi umani, per ricordare ai viandanti la caducità della vita e come si diventi dopo la morte.
 While walking down the road, which from Precasaglio leads back to Ponte di Legno (a walk suitable for eighty-year-olds like we are) we visited the Church of San Giovanni, very bright, well maintained and preserved and full of works of art, such as the 'Wooden altar with brightly painted statues. Next to the church there is a chapel, which was once part of the old cemetery. Curious is the fact that this houses numerous human skulls, to remind travelers of the transience of life and how it becomes after death.
