M	MARIO MORETTI ZOOM MASTER on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa della Santissima Trinità si trova alla confluenza delle varie vie del centro storico di Ponte di Legno. Arrivando da Via IV Novembre, ci si trova davanti allo spettacolo delle scalette di accesso al Sagrato e della facciata. Questa è arricchita da un imponente portale in pietra grigia e da una magnifica porta in legno scolpito con bassorilievi. L’interno è a navata singola con quattro cappelle laterali su ogni lato. Da segnalare le numerose opere in legno scolpito, dall’Altare dorato, al fonte battesimale, ad antichi confessionali ed agli altari di diverse cappelle laterali. Un grande organo è posto su un balconcino alla sinistra dell’Altare. Sulla parete di fondo, sopra l’ingresso spicca un grandissimo affresco, che rappresenta la scena della Crocifissione di Cristo e dei due ladroni. Di fianco alla Chiesa si erge l’alto campanile in pietra grigia. The Church of the Holy Trinity is located at the confluence of the various streets of the historic center of Ponte di Legno. Arriving from Via IV Novembre, you will find yourself in front of the spectacle of the access stairs to the Sagrato and the façade. This is enriched by an imposing portal in gray stone and by a magnificent wooden door carved with bas-reliefs. The interior has a single nave with four side chapels on each side. Of note are the numerous works in carved wood, from the golden altar, to the baptismal font, to ancient confessionals and to the altars of various side chapels. A large organ is placed on a balcony to the left of the Altar. On the back wall, above the entrance stands a very large fresco, which represents the scene of the Crucifixion of Christ and the two thieves. Next to the church stands the tall gray stone bell tower.
