★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa è situata al centro dell'abitato di Poia; anticipata da un piccolo sagrato rialzato rispetto al piano stradale, presenta una facciata semplicemente intonacata caratterizzata da aperture centrali, di cui un portale sormontato dalla statua di S. Giacomo, una finestra lunettata, affiancate da lesene angolari a tutt'altezza. L'interno della chiesa è a navata unica, dotata di altare laterale sul lato sinistro, interamente affrescata e decorata uniformemente, con la copertura voltata inferiore e tetto a due falde. Il presbiterio, rialzato e quadrangolare, ha copertura voltata a botte unghiata, mentre è chiuso da un fondale piano sul quale è posta la grande soasa dell'altare maggiore. A fianco della chiesa si trovano la sacrestia ed il campanile.
The church is located in the center of the town of Poia; anticipated by a small churchyard raised above the street level, it has a simply plastered façade characterized by central openings, of which a portal surmounted by the statue of S. Giacomo, a lunette window, flanked by full-height corner pilasters. The interior of the church has a single nave, equipped with a lateral altar on the left side, entirely frescoed and uniformly decorated, with a lower vaulted roof and a saddle roof. The presbytery, raised and quadrangular, has a barrel-vaulted roof with nails, while it is closed by a flat backdrop on which the large soasa of the main altar is placed. Next to the church are the sacristy and the bell tower.
