Si trova in posizione rialzata rispetto alla strada. Forse, anche per questo, varcando la soglia si percepisce un distacco e un raccoglimento maggiore.
Ci si accede tramite due scale: una larga e comoda e l'altra molto piccola e stretta.
Internamente è collegata, tramite una piccola porta laterale, con il confinante Ospizio di Sant'Erasmo.
Small church located next to the former city hospital.
It is located in a raised position with respect to the road. Perhaps, also for this reason, crossing the threshold one perceives a greater detachment and concentration.
It is accessed via two stairs: one large and comfortable and the other very small and narrow.
Internally it is connected, through a small side door, with the neighboring Ospizio di Sant'Erasmo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa a forma di capanna risalente al secolo XV e chiesa del vicino ospizio. L'ingresso e' situato sulla statale del Sempione e nel Medioevo era una sosta per i pellegrini che percorrevano le vie romee diretti a Milano. All'interno e' possibile ammirare una pala d'altare attribuita a Cristoforo Lampugnani. È difficile visitarla non conoscendo l'orsrio di apertura.
Hut-shaped church dating back to the 15th century and church of the nearby hospice. The entrance is located on the Simplon state road and in the Middle Ages it was a stop for pilgrims traveling along the Roman roads heading to Milan. Inside it is possible to admire an altarpiece attributed to Cristoforo Lampugnani. It is difficult to visit it not knowing the opening orrio.
