Inizialmente e fino agli ultimi anni del secolo XV la chiesa era dedicata a San Bartolomeo.
DescrizioneLa chiesa è situata a Marina d'Aequa che è un antico borgo di pescatori, anche conosciuto come Marina di Seiano. Una recinzione a semicerchio in ferro ed un piccolo atrio precede l'aula liturgica ad unico ambiente con volta a crociera ed abside con copertura a vela. A destra dell'ingresso vi sono due cappelle con volta a vela. Il pavimento è in cotto artigianale e piastrelle di maiolica dipinte. La facciata è scarna: l'ingresso con timpano ad arco, due finestrini in asse ed una grossa apertura ad arco sulla sinistra la caratterizzano. Il prospetto continua con un balcone con parapetto ad arco.

Initially and until the last years of the fifteenth century the church was dedicated to San Bartolomeo.
Description The church is located in Marina d'Aequa which is an ancient fishing village, also known as Marina di Seiano. An iron semicircular fence and a small atrium precedes the liturgical hall with a single room with cross vault and apse with sail roof. To the right of the entrance there are two chapels with a ribbed vault. The floor is in handmade terracotta and painted majolica tiles. The façade is sparse: the entrance with an arched tympanum, two windows in axis and a large arched opening on the left characterize it. The façade continues with a balcony with an arched parapet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima Chiesa del Borgo Marinaro adesso, e dei cavatori un tempo.Dedicata a Sant'Antonio, la popolazione vi trubuta una grande festa, con processione via mare. Nella parte sinistra guardando il portale d'ingresso compare come pietra d'angolo ben due colonne antiche romane, quella superiore marmo bianco scanellato e quella inferiore in calcare con echino. Esse sono sicuramente il retaggio di antica villa marittima romana, di cui il golfo e ricco.
La chiesa si arricchisce grazie a don Angelo Castellano ddi un prezioso reliquiario di Sant'Antonio 13giu2020
Beautiful Church of the Borgo Marinaro now, and of the quarrymen once. Dedicated to Sant'Antonio, the population grubs you a big party, with a procession by sea. On the left side, looking at the entrance portal, two ancient Roman columns appear as the corner stone, the upper one with white marble and the lower one in limestone with echinus. They are certainly the legacy of an ancient Roman maritime villa, of which the gulf is rich.
