★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di Santa Marta fu eretta nel XIV secolo su quella che era la spiaggia più occidentale della città lagunare, in stretto legame con la parrocchia di San Nicolò dei Mendicoli.
Nella modernità subì la sconsacrazione e un lungo degrado. Nel Novecento, dell'originario assetto dell'area nulla è rimasto, causa l'organizzazione delle strutture del nuovo porto e la successiva realizzazione del terminal automobilistico di piazzale Roma e della stazione marittima. La chiesa, deperita (per uso magazzino ecc.) e inglobata tra moderne strutture e parcheggi, è sopravvissuta alla radicalità dei cambiamenti, beneficiando negli anni 2000 di un totale restauro con riconversione, che ne ha fatto un luogo di convegni ed esposizioni

The church of Santa Marta was built in the 14th century on what was the westernmost beach of the lagoon city, in close connection with the parish of San Nicolò dei Mendicoli.
In modernity it suffered desecration and a long degradation. In the twentieth century, nothing remained of the original structure of the area, due to the organization of the structures of the new port and the subsequent construction of the car terminal in Piazzale Roma and the maritime station. The perished church (for warehouse use etc.) and incorporated between modern structures and parking lots, has survived the radical changes, benefiting in the 2000s from a total restoration with reconversion, which has made it a place for conferences and exhibitions

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale piccolo, ma come se fosse grande, il cibo molto squisito, anche tutto a base di pesce fresco, con prezzi bassi vedendo la qualita dei cibi offerti, il pwrsonale ben preparato, nel loro lavoro, sempre gentili e premurosi per dodisfare al meglio ill cliente, se capitate a Genova, non potete non andare a mangiare li, vedrete sarete così felici, che ci ritornate ancora.
Small restaurant, but as if it were large, the food is very delicious, even everything based on fresh fish, with low prices seeing the quality of the food offered, the pwrsonale well prepared, in their work, always kind and thoughtful to better understand the ill customer, if you happen to be in Genoa, you cannot not go and eat there, you will see you will be so happy, that you will come back again.
