★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La tipologia ricalca quella di numerose chiese del Friuli, quasi a rimarcare l'identità del borgo di origine contadina. Sul lato nord, dove c'è adesso una piazzetta, era sistemato il cimitero e sulla piazza antistante il fronte è sistemata la fontana con obelisco donato dal Lashak, che aveva fatto fortuna in Egitto.
The typology follows that of numerous churches in Friuli, as if to underline the identity of the village of peasant origin. On the north side, where there is now a small square, the cemetery was arranged and on the square in front of the front is the fountain with an obelisk donated by Lashak, who had made a fortune in Egypt.

Assolutamente da visitare se si ha voglia di trascorrere del tempo con la propria spiritualità in serenità meditazione e preghiera
The church of San Rocco, the first news of which dates back to September 19, 1497, is a treasure trove of history and art where several styles and authors coexist, in a sort of perfect union that refers to a multicultural Gorizia. Absolutely to visit if you want to spend time with your spirituality in serenity meditation and prayer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antico Borgo di Gorizia, storicamente fuori le mura della città a difesa della peste, infatti fino al 1912 non esisteva via dei Lantieri. La chiesa attuale è un rifacimento della fine dell'Ottocento su struttura preesistente più volte rimaneggiata a partire dal 1497, 1500, 1637 per giungere al 1898. Al suo interno presenta alcune opere di notevole preziosità: la pala cinquecentesca dell'altare maggiore attribuita a Palma il giovane, con la Vergine e i santi Sebastiano, Rocco e Agostino; la Via Crucis di Antonio Paroli del 1750; la pala di Santa Filomena del 1838 dono della famiglia reale dei Borboni di Francia in esilio a Gorizia e la secentesca ultima cena nel presbiterio. L'organo è un ottimo strumento di mille canne dell'azienda organaria Francesco Zanin di Codroipo. Purtroppo i danni subiti dal primo conflitto mondiale hanno trasformato notevolmente il tempio a partire dal soffitto, presbiterio e cantoria.
Ancient Borgo di Gorizia, historically outside the city walls in defense of the plague, in fact until 1912 there was no via dei Lantieri. The present church is a remake of the late nineteenth century on a pre-existing structure that has been reworked several times since 1497, 1500, 1637 to reach 1898. Inside it presents some works of remarkable value: the sixteenth-century altarpiece attributed to Palma the young man, with the Virgin and saints Sebastiano, Rocco and Agostino; the Via Crucis by Antonio Paroli from 1750; the altarpiece of Santa Filomena from 1838, a gift from the Bourbon royal family in exile in Gorizia, and the seventeenth-century last supper in the presbytery. The organ is an excellent instrument of a thousand canes from the organ company Francesco Zanin of Codroipo. Unfortunately, the damage suffered by the First World War has considerably transformed the temple from the ceiling, presbytery and chancel.
