★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorge proprio su Piazza della Vittoria, dove c'è anche la Fontana del Nettuno. Vista dall'alto si notano le guglie, molto particolari. Chiesa a singola navata con ai lati tante piccole cappelle. Merita decisamente una visita. Facile il parcheggio lì nei dintorni.
It stands right on Piazza della Vittoria, where there is also the Fountain of Neptune. Seen from above you can see the spiers, very particular. Single nave church with many small chapels on either side. Definitely worth a visit. Easy parking nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella , affascinanti sono i confessionali,molti, i goriziani sono forse un po’ più peccatori degli altri ( ah ah ) ma lo stile che hanno ricordano proprio i tempi in cui erano molto frequentati. La chiesa è al centro di una bellissima piazza.
Beautiful, fascinating are the confessionals, many, the people of Gorizia are perhaps a little more sinful than the others (ha ha) but the style they have is reminiscent of the times when they were very popular. The church is in the center of a beautiful square.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Piazza della Vittoria, built between 1654 and 1747 by the will of the Jesuits, there is a single nave structure. Inside there are 3 chapels on both sides with splendid baroque altars, marble decorations, carved and inlaid wooden furnishings from the 17th century, the altar by the Venetian sculptor Lazzarini (1716) and the 18th century fresco of the pulpit "La Gloria di S. Ignatius "painted by Tausch.
The exterior facade by Christoph Tausch enhances its architectural features. In the niches, located above the three entrances, we can admire the statues of the saints: St. Ignatius in the center, John the Baptist on the right and St. Joseph on the left. The two bell towers with the classic bronze onion domes complete its beauty. This church is also accessible to people with physical disabilities.
