★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only the church itself is interesting, but the 360 degree view of Venice (Palazza Ducale, le Colonne di Venezia, Punta della Dogana etc.) is offered from the tower of bells (by elevator). Don't miss it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little island deserves a quick visit. The church's facade has really an impact.
Behind the altar there's a wooden choir that's a masterpiece.
It is possible to get to the top of the bell tower paying a ticket.
There's an elevator.
The view from the bell tower is really impressive. You have a clear view on the Giudecca channel, the Punta della Dogana, and Piazza San Marco.
Unfortunately, the clerk we found wasn't really polite and kind...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An unmissable landmark when you are in Venice town... Far from the crowd this place offers spectacular view of the city... Best time to visit is either early morning or in the evening.. It is open till 1900 hrs. The contribution to use the elevator to go up the clock tower is 6 Euros and is totally worth it. You avoid the crowd... Serene and must visit place...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous church with beautiful interiors, some exquisite paintings and while we were there a beautiful exhibition of modern art. Arrive well before closing as we missed some parts due to closing. The views from the Bell tower ate stunning, especially at the end of the day. The lift to the top makes it very easy to get up, although when busy the cut outs are hard to access. Beware that the bells toll, loudly, every half hour!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best view of Venice, over the water. Nice and quiet, much quieter than the tower in San Marco square, but you need to get a quick boat ride over to the island first - great if you already have a day pass, but an expensive €7.50 euro for a 3 min boat ride (one way).
Still highly recommend a visit, especially if you're into church architecture.
It's now €8 which must be a recent increase as other reviews say €6

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful church with breathtaking views of the main city of Venice. The views from the Tower are magical. We had no lines on the day we visited and very few people at the top of the Tower. Great place to take photos and enjoy the views of the entire city. The church itself it just beautiful. The paintings, alter, wood work is just awe inspiring. This church is a must when visiting Venice. No charge to enter the church, but a fee to go up into the tower and they only accept cash.
