★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personalmente non la conoscevo ma vi ci ho accompagnato una persona che ci teneva moltissimo a rivisitarla dopo tanti anni, così l' ho soddisfatta. A mio parere come chiesa è molto semplice (quasi minimal), design 'moderno' (tipo come la chiesa di Madonna delle Stuoie a Lugo, ma quella la preferisco molto più come architettura), grande e ben spaziosa. La cosa più bella e che unica mi ha colpito è stato il mosaico in style bizantino vicino l' altare (molto 'ravennate') del resto il 'simbolo' rappresentativo della chiesa è senza dubbio la statua della Madonna a cui sono legati alcuni fatti risalenti al 1972 (se non erro) per cui dicono che abbia pianto sangue e l' abbia lacrimato anche dal cuore.
Personally, I didn't know her but I accompanied a person who really wanted to revisit her after so many years, so I met her. In my opinion, as a church it is very simple (almost minimal), 'modern' design (like the church of Madonna delle Stuoie in Lugo, but I prefer it much more as architecture), large and very spacious. The most beautiful and unique thing that struck me was the Byzantine style mosaic near the altar (very 'Ravenna'). Moreover, the representative 'symbol' of the church is undoubtedly the statue of the Madonna to which some facts dating back to 1972 (if I'm not mistaken) so they say he cried blood and he even wept from the heart.

Opere d'arte: la via crucis in ceramica e la statua bronzea di S. Pier Damiano opere dell'artista Angelo Biancini. Il sagrato è delimitato da una cancellata artistica con formelle raffiguranti storie bibliche e simboli di pace e liberta, unica nel suo genere.
Modern church (1958) that evokes the Ravenna basilicas with a central plan with a sober Franciscan style. The bell tower is the tallest in the whole city. Works of art: the ceramic via crucis and the bronze statue of S. Pier Damiano, works by the artist Angelo Biancini. The churchyard is bordered by an artistic gate with tiles depicting biblical stories and symbols of peace and freedom, unique in its kind.
