M	Maurizio Miele on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il chiostro della chiesa di San Nicolò in questi giorni, da ieri 10/6 fino al 24, ospita l'Hosteria della Porta del Borgo, che fa parte del Palio di San Giovanni a Fabriano. Stasera ho cenato lì. Uno dei cuochi ci ha spiegato che dietro la preparazione dei menu c'è un lungo e attento studio di quella che era la cucina medioevale, con gli ingredienti dell'epoca, e cercano di riproporre tali piatti, tanto che sperano che saranno alla fine premiati per la fedeltà alle ricette e agli aspetti dei piatti medioevali. Era davvero tutto tanto tanto buono e molto particolare. Vale la pena. Attualmente il parroco è Don Luigi, persona davvero brava e disponibile. Nel chiostro risiede anche un associazione culturale per il doposcuola e ci si svolge anche il catechismo. Nel periodo del Palio di San Giovanni Battista (10-24 Giugno) viene allestita lì l'osteria del Borgo Really beautiful church. La facciata é in stile classico, tipico dell'entroterra marchigiano. L'interno é ad unica navata, a pianta a croce latina, in stile barocco con dipinti manieristici. Le caratteristiche che rendono questa chiesa molto bella sono: - l'imponenza in cui domina sulla piazza; - tele di filippo bellini; - tele di Andrea sacchi; - tele del guercino. Ingresso: libero. Simpatico il confessionale anticovid; bello e importante il portale sanificate che spruzza disinfettante o altro.
