★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' una bella chiesa, ma ce ne sono altre che lo sono molto di più. Dedicata alla SS. Vergine del Soccorso, é meglio conosciuta con l'appellativo Badiola, piccola badia, per distinguerla dalla Grande Badia o Bataranni che sorge poco lontana. E' sede della Parrocchia di San Michele, chiesa ormai non più esistente che sorgeva non molto lontana. La chiesa di San Michele fu pesantemente danneggiata nel 1966 in seguito alla frana che colpì duramente parte della città. In seguito per decisioni scellerate la chiesa fu abbattuta. Oggi al suo posto si trova un campetto di calcio. La sede della sua comunità parrocchiale fu trasferita presso la Badiola.
It is a beautiful church, but there are others that are much more so. Dedicated to the SS. Vergine del Soccorso, is better known by the nickname Badiola, small abbey, to distinguish it from the Grande Badia or Bataranni which rises not far away. It is the seat of the Parish of San Michele, a church which no longer exists and which rose not far away. The church of San Michele was heavily damaged in 1966 following the landslide that hit part of the city hard. Later, due to wicked decisions, the church was demolished. Today there is a football pitch in its place. The seat of his parish community was moved to the Badiola.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non si comprende, se non col metro economico, il motivo per cui costruissero tante chiese. Nei piccoli paesi, gli scarsi mezzi, possono far comprendere la non eccelsa qualità. Ma in città importanti, ove vi sono chiese a decine, se non centinaia, non si comprende questa necessità edificatoria per costruire monumenti di tanta scarsa qualità come questa.
It is not clear, if not with the economic meter, why they built so many churches. In small towns, the scarce means can make one understand the sublime quality. But in important cities, where there are dozens, if not hundreds, of churches, one does not understand this building need to build monuments of such poor quality as this one.
