A	Antonio Vergallo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie fu costruita dal 1559 al 1583 e verso la fine del XVII secolo venne restaurata e ampliata a tre navate. A coronamento del prospetto è posto un timpano triangolare sul quale è raffigurata la Vergine tra angeli oranti. L'interno, rinnovato nel corso dei secoli, è suddiviso in tre navate. Le pareti sono interamente affrescate con dipinti realizzati dal pittore Leonardo Perrone di Trepuzzi. Molto belli i dipinti ed è certamente una chiesa da visitare. The church of Santa Maria delle Grazie was built from 1559 to 1583 and towards the end of the 17th century it was restored and enlarged to three naves. Crowning the façade is a triangular tympanum on which the Virgin is depicted among praying angels. The interior, renovated over the centuries, is divided into three naves. Situata in zona strategica di fronte ai famosi giardini pubblici conosciuti anche come "villa" zona di passeggio e svago per grandi e piccini Well it could not be otherwise. wonderful Church. Mi alzo in piedi e vado su e giù nella sala d'aspetto, poi mi affaccio sulla strada e vedo, non molto distante dal mio punto di osservazione, una costruzione che ha tutto l'aspetto di un vecchio monastero. Senza esitare la raggiungo. E' proprio un convento francescano. Leggo la targa: Convento Parrocchia dei Frati Minori Santa Maria delle Grazie. Di fianco c'è una chiesa dall'austera facciata in stile rinascimentale, sormontata da un classico timpano e alleggerita da cinque finestre bifore, due per ogni lato e una centrale con spessi vetri rossi. Non sarà nulla di particolare, penso, ma apro comunque la porta... Sopraggiunge un signore anziano dall'aspetto e dai modi eleganti. Mi chiede se ho bisogno di qualcosa. Gli dico che vorrei solo scattare qualche foto. Temo mi dica che non è consentito. Lui saluta e sparisce dietro a una navata. Dopo pochi secondi sento riecheggiare gli scatti secchi di tanti interruttori. Ad ogni schiocco si illuminano, in ordine, prima una serie di lunette, poi le volte, le colonne e i capitelli. Un settore dietro l'altro, investito da fasci di luce calda e mirata, rivela ogni suo particolare, i quadri e le pitture murarie si animano di colori accesi, sorvegliati dalle espressioni severe delle statue dei Santi. Il rosa della luce filtrata dai vetri colorati dalle bifore, che prima se la giocava con la penombra, diventa oro. April 2018 .... Next to it is a church with an austere façade in Renaissance style, surmounted by a classic tympanum and lightened by five mullioned windows, two on each side and a central one with thick red glass. It won't be anything special, I think, but I still open the door ... An elderly gentleman arrives with an elegant appearance and manner. He asks me if I need anything. I tell him I just want to take some pictures. I'm afraid you tell me it's not allowed. He greets and disappears behind a nave. After a few seconds I hear the dry snaps of so many switches echo. At each snap, a series of lunettes are illuminated first, then the vaults, the columns and the capitals. One sector after another, hit by bundles of warm and focused light, reveals every detail, the paintings and wall paintings come alive with bright colors, guarded by the severe expressions of the statues of the Saints. The pink of light filtered by the colored glass of the mullioned windows, which first played it with the penumbra, turns to gold.
