★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa dell'Addolorata di Cerignola ha origini molto antiche. Da documenti ritrovati nell' archivio risalirebbe al secolo XIV. L' attuale configurazione è il risultato di svariate modifiche, dovute a restauri e ricostruzioni eseguite in diversi periodi, ultimate negli anni trenta del XX secolo.Il plesso originario era costituito da una piccola cappella rurale che fu modificata e trasformata dopo un terremoto che ne compromise la struttura, tuttavia senza riportare danni alla impalcatura basale della costruzione.
The Church of the Addolorata di Cerignola has very ancient origins. From documents found in the archive it dates back to the 14th century. The current configuration is the result of various modifications, due to restorations and reconstructions carried out in different periods, completed in the thirties of the twentieth century.The original plexus consisted of a small rural chapel that was modified and transformed after an earthquake that compromised it the structure, however without reporting damage to the basal scaffolding of the building.
