Le più belle sono quelle che rappresentano la cosiddetta Processione dei Bianchi. Beautiful church from the 13th century, with a simple façade, but wall paintings from the Giotto school. La vera meraviglia si cela all'interno, dove sulle pareti trova posto un tripudio di colori e immagini, talvolta anche particolari, come l'arcangelo Gabriele annunciante con le braccia conserte o la SS. Trinità rappresentata come persona con 3 teste. Il tutto inserito in un borgo veramente molto bello e curatissimo. The real wonder is hidden inside, where on the walls there is a riot of colors and images, sometimes even particular ones, such as the archangel Gabriel announcing with the arms folded or the SS. Trinity represented as a person with 3 heads. All inserted in a truly beautiful and well-kept village.

Appena varcata la soglia sarete accolti da un tripudio di colori, causa numerosi affreschi in essa presenti. Dal 1200 in poi venivano offerti come ex-voto affreschi, per cui capita che in una stessa parete ci possano essere diverse natività o diverse volte dipinti gli stessi santi, la presenza di s. Sebastiano è molteplice,. Ci sono alcune curiosità che vorrei porre all'attenzione, in un affresco viene rappresentato un Cristo con tre volti, in un altro chiamato "la processione dei Bianchi", dove sono dipinti più di trecento figure umane, (alcuni dei volti compaiono più volte), in primo piano un bacio tra due uomini, ma la cosa che mi ha di più entusiasmato il dipinto di un san Francesco che moltissimo si avvicina a quello che viene descritto come suo volto reale. Che l'artista abbia visto il dipinto di Cimabue? Bellissimo enigma You absolutely must visit this church, a true treasure chest of beauty. Could the artist have seen Cimabue's painting? Beautiful enigma
