È interessante che il tabernacolo abbia una posizione centrale rispetto alla navata della Chiesa, che è a sinistra, ed alla cappella con la statua di santa Lucia, che è a destra. Bello anche il gruppo di statue che sovrasta l'altare maggiore. Insolito e ben fatto, con un perfetto senso delle proporzioni. Anche la conformazione del tabernacolo dà il giusto rilievo alla sua funzione di custodia dell'elemento principale della Chiesa, che ne costituisce il fondamento. Quindi architettura e teologia sono perfettamente fuse. È l'unica Chiesa moderna di Lecce davvero bella e culturalmente rilevante. It is a beautiful and very original Church. It is interesting that the tabernacle has a central position with respect to the nave of the Church, which is on the left, and to the chapel with the statue of Saint Lucia, which is on the right. The group of statues overlooking the main altar is also beautiful. Unusual and well done, with a perfect sense of proportion. The conformation of the tabernacle also gives due importance to its function of guarding the main element of the Church, which constitutes its foundation. So architecture and theology are perfectly fused. It is the only modern church in Lecce that is truly beautiful and culturally relevant.
