I	Irina Rossi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La mia personale devozione a Santa Lucia mi " obbliga " a dare cinque stellette a questo sacro luogo di culto cattolico cristiano !La scalinata però purtroppo impedisce di entrare in Chiesa per chi è in carrozzina. My personal devotion to Saint Lucia "obliges" me to give five stars to this sacred place of Christian Catholic worship! Unfortunately, however, the staircase prevents those who are in wheelchairs from entering the Church.

Molto bello e curato anche l'esterno Beautiful church in the center. Decorations, frescoes and mosaics frame the niches of the saints. Very nice and well looked after also on the outside
M	Margherita Rindone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Parrocchia più frequentata di Reggio Calabria, si prende cura dei giovani e degli anziani, il compianto parroco don Mimmo Geraci ha dato vita ad un centro "La Casa degli anziani" dove prestano amorevoli cure le suore della carità. Le messe domenicali sono affollate, seguite con enorme piacere le omelie e ai canti del coro partecipano anche i parrocchiani. Senz'altro commovente partecipare ad una messa in questa Chiesa, qui ho provato grandi gioie e grandi dolori, hanno ricevuto il sacro battesimo e la 1^ Comunione i miei figli ed io stessa e sempre qui ho dato l'estremo saluto ad entrambi i miei genitori..... The most frequented Parish of Reggio Calabria, takes care of the young and the elderly, the late parish priest Don Mimmo Geraci gave life to a center "The House of the Elderly" where the nuns of charity lend themselves lovingly. Sunday Masses are crowded, the homilies are followed with great pleasure and parishioners also take part in the choir's singing. It is certainly moving to participate in a Mass in this Church, here I have experienced great joys and great sorrows, have received the holy baptism and the 1st Communion my children and myself and always here I gave my best regards to both my parents parents .....

Le nicchie che ospitano i santi sono fatte bene ma la più maestosa è quella di Santa Lucia. Anche la statua è favolosa, sembra vera per quanto è realistica. Complimenti ai restauratori ed un plauso a Don Mimmo Geraci che ha avuto la caparbietà di far diventare la chiesa di un'eleganza unica. The church of Santa Lucia is very beautiful, decorated everywhere with magnificent golden mosaics. The niches that house the saints are well done but the most majestic is that of Saint Lucia. Also the statue is fabulous, it seems real as far as it is realistic. Congratulations to the restorers and a praise to Don Mimmo Geraci who had the stubbornness to make the church of a unique elegance.

Il parroco don Mimmo Cartella è un pastore in gamba anche perché la parrocchia è molto grande e quindi difficile da governare. La Chiesa è stata restaurata dal vecchio parroco don Mimmo Geraci purtroppo morto proprio quando aveva ultimato i lavori. Da ammirare sul tetto gli affreschi che raffigurano gli Apostoli oltre a tutte le opere in bronzo dello scultore reggino Michele di Raco It's my parish and I feel at home. The parish priest don Mimmo Cartella is a good pastor also because the parish is very large and therefore difficult to govern. The church was restored by the old parish priest don Mimmo Geraci, who died unfortunately when he had finished the work. To admire on the roof the frescoes depicting the Apostles as well as all the bronze works of the reggino sculptor Michele di Raco

Le opere liturgiche presenti appaiono di gran pregio all'occhio anche del visitatore meno esperto. Sicuramente un luogo di culto cattolico di riferimento per gli abitanti di Reggio Calabria e non solo. Si trova nei pressi del Ponte della Libertà, a pochi passi dal chilometro più bello d'Italia. The Church of Santa Lucia cannot leave the faithful and the visitor indifferent. The liturgical works present appear of great value to the eye even of the less expert visitor. Definitely a place of Catholic worship of reference for the inhabitants of Reggio Calabria and beyond. It is located near the Ponte della Libertà, a few steps from the most beautiful kilometer in Italy.
