La chiesa attuale intitolata a San Giovanni Battista fu costruita probabilmente sull'antica chiesa di Santa Maria della Serra risalente al XV-XVI secolo (menzionata in una Platea del 1475).
DescrizioneLa chiesa di San Giovanni Battista fu realizzata nel XVIII secolo. La facciata ha un paramento murario in pietrame a vista ed è coronata da un frontone. L'interno presenta un'unica navata con una serie di cappelle laterali sui due lati e termina con un abside rettangolare. All'esterno, sui lati lunghi, vi sono dei contrafforti. L'edificio è dotato di un campanile con aperture ad arco sui livelli superiori.

The current church dedicated to San Giovanni Battista was probably built on the ancient church of Santa Maria della Serra dating back to the 15th-16th century (mentioned in a Platea of 1475).
Description The church of San Giovanni Battista was built in the 18th century. The façade has a masonry face in exposed stone and is crowned by a pediment. The interior has a single nave with a series of side chapels on both sides and ends with a rectangular apse. Outside, on the long sides, there are buttresses. The building has a bell tower with arched openings on the upper levels.
