★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dawniej był to kościół, później zrobiono z niego bibliotekę. Obecnie dodatkowo znajduje się tutaj małe muzeum gdzie w szafach i szklanych gablotach eksponowane są stare książki oraz księgi. Jest to taka mała ciekawostka. Wejście nic nie kosztuje więc tym bardziej warto zerknąć co jest w środku.

En ese hermoso sitio uno de los edificios más emblemáticos de la ciudad es la iglesia de Saint Augustine. Esta iglesia, hoy usada como biblioteca, ha sufrido varias modificaciones a lo largo de la historia. La fachada es muy simple, muy austera. En el interior se puede observar un techo de vigas de madera con arcos laterales y columnas corintias. Muy hermoso.
When traveling through Corso Umberto I, the main artery of Taormina, one of the most beautiful places is piazza IX Aprile. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely late 15th c church, supposedly originally devoted to St. Sebastian who saved Taomina by performing the miracle of keeping the plague away. Personally, I'm glad there is no plague in Taormina, because it's a very nice town. Thanks, Sebastian!
