It's a small church that can't be seen from the main street and isn't listed in guides, but the inside is bright and very beautiful with white as the keynote.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa del Varò o della Visitazione risale al XV secolo, ed al suo interno presenta una sola navata. L’altare ospita la statua della Madonna Addolorata. All’esterno si segnala il portale principale, costruito interamente in pietra di Taormina ed una piccola torre che ne costituisce il campanile. Chiesa a mio parere molto bella, da visitare, ideale per un matrimonio con pochi intimi, o comunque non affollato.
The Church of the Varò or of the Visitation dates back to the fifteenth century, and inside it has a single nave. The altar houses the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows. Outside is the main portal, built entirely in Taormina stone and a small tower that forms the bell tower. Church in my opinion very beautiful, to visit, ideal for a wedding with a few close friends, or at least not crowded.
