★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un gioiello abbandonato, senza cura, a se stesso, trascurato senza alcuna manutenzione all'altezza e degna di un simile monumento. Nessun riguardo viene prestato alla splendida facciata, dai venditori del mercatino circostante che, con le proprie bancarelle, quasi ne ostacolano l'accesso, ornando lo stesso di tinozze e mercanzia. Ma Napoli, anche se non dovrebbe, può permettersi questo sacrilegio. Capita a tutti i sovrabbondanti di gioielli di gettarne qualcuno ai porci, ma in questo caso è un enorme sacrilegio. Speriamo che qualcuno, visto la ristrutturazione dei luoghi circostanti, si accorga di questa Cenerentola, magari senza agire troppo sul mercatino in sito che rappresenta, forse, l'ultimo baluardi del ricordo di una Napoli che fu', anche se attualmente invaso da mercanti extracomunitari abusivi.

No regard is paid to the beautiful façade, from the sellers of the surrounding market, with its stalls, almost hinder access, adorning the same tubs and merchandise. But Napoli, although it should not, can afford this sacrilege. It happens to all of discarding redundant jewels someone before swine, but in this case is a huge sacrilege. Hopefully, given the restructuring of the surrounding places, someone will notice this Cinderella, perhaps without acting too much on the local market which represents, perhaps, the last bulwarks of the memory of a Naples that was, even if currently invaded by non-EU merchants abusive.
