j	jack gg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È una chiesa bellissima, a nicchia, peccato che non è sempre aperta al pubblico (è aperta solo il lunedì sera e il sabato sera per la messa solo per le funzioni) It is a beautiful church, a niche, a shame that it is not always open to the public (it is open only on Monday evenings and Saturday nights for mass only for functions)

Era un tempo la cappella del castello ed è stata poi ampliata e trasformata nel XVI secolo. Dopo la seconda guerra mondiale è stata completamente restaurata. All'inerno sono conservate alcune formlle dell'antico fonte battesimale del XII secolo e un trittico con la Madonna e i Santi . It is the current religious center of Montespertoli, replacing the parish church of San Piero in Mercato. It was once the chapel of the castle and was then enlarged and transformed in the 16th century. After the Second World War it was completely restored. To the inside some formlle of the ancient baptismal font of the XII century and a triptych with the Madonna and the Saints are conserved.

Molto buono il servizio delle messe, numerose anche nei giorni feriali. Ottimo il distanziamento e il rispetto delle norme anti-covid. È stata la cappella del castello, in seguito fu ampliata e da ultimo trasformata nel XVI secolo. All'interno ci sono diverse opere notevoli, fra cui alcune formelle dell'antico fonte battesimale di Santa Maria a Coeli Aula, del XII secolo, e un trittico risalenti al XIV secolo. The parish church of Sant'Andrea is the main one in the town, having replaced the parish church of San Piero in Mercato, outside the historic center.
