A	Antonietta Tassone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in Montespertoli for six days during September, 2012. Unfortunately we stumbled onto this wonderful restaurant on our last day. We had lunch there and it was the best meal we had had during our six week stay in Italy. The owner and his wife were very friendly and the food was to die for. I remember I had the rabbit and it was very moist and flavoursome. Everyone bragged how much they loved this quaint little restaurant and it will be my first stop next time we are in the area. Number one on my list.

It took 1 hour between when we finished our appetizers and when our food arrived. Our server claimed this was because it was busy, but the restaurant was not full. Also, the Bistecca Fiorentina which I ordered was extremely salty and barely edible. The rest of the food was ok, although we didn't feel worth the price.

Beyond this, the ambiance, limited tables and even tucked away in a side road in a quaint hill hilltop town made it the perfect experience. The hours and tables are short, but, it's worth the effort; make the reservation and take the drive!

If your in a hurry this isn’t the place for you. Worth every waiting minute. Recommend everything on the menu. Go with a group so can taste it all!
T	Ty Wise on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is wonderful. My family was staying in Montespertoli for a few days and we ended up going here twice. The food is so delicious and the service is very friendly. Everything we ordered was wonderful, from the appetizers to the desert. We ordered multiple appetizers, several pasta dishes, second courses, and deserts. The pasta is some of the best we had in Italy and everything else was just as amazing. They have a really good wine selection including local options from Montespertoli and the greater Tuscan area. They have menus in multiple languages (English, French, German, and dutch) but I would recommend looking at an Italian menu as well since there is a bit more information there. (I've noticed some reviews complain about the speed of the meal but they clearly do not understand that dinner in Italy, especially in a small restaurant in a small town, is always going to be a relaxed affair. It's cultural, it's not "bad" or "slow" service.)
J	Jolene Waldrab on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A restaurant that we were extremely pleased to discover, the food was amazing, the service was welcoming and attentive and the prices were reasonable. We visited twice during our weeklong stay and recommended it to another group who also really loved the experience. Just a note, our Italian was non-existent and their English was very basic so we employed Google translate to make our menu selections. Also, it's worth remarking that, as is the custom in Europe, dinner starts late (open at 7:30 p.m.) and is a slow evening long experience. Courses are sometimes served in a different order than we are used so come prepared to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal.
