Piccola Chiesa con splendido chiostro rinascimentale. Se siete in zona vale la pena ritagliarsi 10 minuti per visitarla.

Chiesa antica del 1400 circa a Parma in via Farini, belli gli interni della chiesa, e magnifico il chiostro al suo lato sx. dall'ingresso, con un affresco appena restaurato, raffigurante l'immagine di S.Francesco di Assisi. Il portone d'ingresso della chiesa, autentico e stato appena fatto restaurare. Qui si respira aria di antico.

La chiesa di San uldarico si trova nel centro di Parma. La struttura risale all'anno 1000. La facciata é semplice, dipinta da un bellissimo rosetta, con linee precise. L'interno é ad unica navata, a pianta longitudinale in stile cinquecentesco semplice con riferimenti al barocco. Le caratteristiche da notare sono: - le stupende formelle della via crucis, scolpite e dipinte da Trombara; - le cappelle laterali dipinte o decorate; - il soffitto con stucchi barocchi, in uno sfondo azzurrino semplice. Ingresso: gratuito.
The church of San uldarico is located in the center of Parma. The structure dates back to the year 1000. The facade is simple, painted by a beautiful rosette, with precise lines. The interior has a single nave, with a simple 16th century longitudinal plan with references to the Baroque. The features to note are: - the beautiful tiles of the via crucis, carved and painted by Trombara; - the painted or decorated side chapels; - the ceiling with baroque stuccos, in a simple blue background. La chiesa di Sant'Uldarico venne eretta prima del mille sulle rovine del teatro romano e le prime notizie risalgono al 1005-1015. Di questo periodo resta ancora la prima parte della torre rettangolare, modificata successivamente nella sommità. Nel 1440 le monache benedettine cassinesi decisero di far ricostruire chiesa e convento. Nacque così il pregevole chiostro, che ancor oggi si conserva: ha sei arcate per lato e nei lati minori gli archi sono goticheggianti, mentre in quelli maggiori sono di forma rinascimentale. I capitelli sono di fogge diverse e le decorazioni a fogliame si alternano a motivi allegorici, i delfini e a teste d'angeli. La cornice terminale è di chiaro carattere cinquecentesco 1500-1505 circa. L'interno si presenta oggi con tre cappelle laterali. Sopra la porta d'ingresso vi è "San Rocco fra gli appestati" dipinto da Giovanni Tebaldi nel 1829, mentre le formelle della Via Crucis sono dello scultore Emilio Trombara. . . . Thus was born the valuable cloister, which is still preserved today: it has six arches on each side and in the smaller sides the arches are Gothic, while in the larger ones they are Renaissance in shape. The capitals are of different shapes and the foliage decorations alternate with allegorical motifs, dolphins and angels' heads. The terminal frame is of a clear sixteenth century character around 1500-1505. The interior today has three side chapels. Above the front door there is "San Rocco among the plague victims" painted by Giovanni Tebaldi in 1829, while the panels of the Via Crucis are by the sculptor Emilio Trombara.
