Beautiful Church should be visited because it is unique in its kind, the paintings on the walls and the Christ in the center on the Altar make you feel safe and accompanied in prayer.

Church could be beautiful, but it is vulgar: so many styles, so golden. The lectern on the venue is something horrible. Should change parish priest.

Unique of its kind in the province of Brindisi, frescoed in neo-Byzantine style transports you to Greek scenarios. The Christ pantocrator represented on the apse is of great impact! When you enter it gives you an enveloping sensation. A gem for those who want to visit it even from afar, the parish has an interactive virtual tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A molti la chiesa parrocchiale di Cristo Salvatore piace tantissimo: c'è chi la ritiene fra le chiese più belle di Brindisi (fra quelle nuove naturalmente).
Non è brutta (come purtroppo molte chiese moderne, con le quali comunque condivide la pessima collocazione del Tabernacolo in luogo nascosto!) ma non a tutti piacciono quei dipinti simil-bizantini.
Non sono un intenditore ma A) credo si tratti di "copie" di altre opere; B) non sono tele ne affreschi ma strani dipinti realizzati non so dove né come e poi "incollati" alle pareti a mò di carta da parati; C) la chiesa durante la mattinate di sole (spessissimo) diventa "impraticabile" e non per il caldo (quello semmai è un problema estivo, peraltro comune a molte chiese moderne) ma per l'abbaglio del sole che realmente infastidisce una grossa porzione dell'Aula Liturgica. Ed infine è fredda d'inverno e, come detto, calda d'estate. D) Il vetro è bello ma va pulito sennò non è un bel vedere.
Many like the parish church of Christ the Savior very much: there are those who consider it among the most beautiful churches in Brindisi (among the new ones of course).
It is not ugly (like unfortunately many modern churches, with which it still shares the bad location of the Tabernacle in a hidden place!) But not everyone likes those Byzantine-like paintings.
I am not a connoisseur but A) I believe they are "copies" of other works; B) they are not canvases or frescoes but strange paintings made I don't know where or how and then "glued" to the walls as a kind of wallpaper; C) the church during sunny mornings (very often) becomes "impractical" and not because of the heat (if anything, it is a summer problem, however common to many modern churches) but because of the glare of the sun that really annoys a large portion of the 'Liturgical Hall. And finally it is cold in winter and, as mentioned, hot in summer. D) The glass is beautiful but it needs to be cleaned otherwise it is not a pretty sight.
