 A unique place, rich in history and charm just a few meters from Dante's Tomb. A must visit if you are in Ravenna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Particormente suggestivi e dopo il restauro ancora più belli. Ora ospita una mostra in occasione del settecenario della mostra di Dante.
Particularly evocative and after the restoration even more beautiful. It now hosts an exhibition on the occasion of the seven-year anniversary of the Dante exhibition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il complesso monumentale degli antichi Chiostri Francescani è un angolo di raffinato
fascino e di pace in pieno centro storico proprio attaccato alla Tomba di Dante.
L'ingresso è gratuito e al suo interno c'è un museo che non ho avuto modo di visitare.
I chiostri sono ben due e sono uno più bello dell'alto.
Al pianterreno si nota un magnifico loggiato contornato di colonne di marmo bianco con capitelli in stile dorico.
Al centro si trova un pozzo ornato di sculture.
Il secondo, detto “della Cassa” ha una struttura contrastante determinata dal numero diverso di arcate del loggiato a pianterreno.
Le colonne sono composte di sasso d’Istria, di marmo rosso veronese e di greco.
The monumental complex of the ancient Franciscan Cloisters is a refined corner
charm and peace in the historic center right next to Dante's Tomb.
Admission is free and inside there is a museum that I have not had the opportunity to visit.
There are two cloisters and one is more beautiful than above.
On the ground floor there is a magnificent loggia surrounded by white marble columns with Doric capitals.
In the center is a well decorated with sculptures.
The second, called “della Cassa”, has a contrasting structure determined by the different number of arches of the loggia on the ground floor.
The columns are made of Istrian stone, red Veronese marble and Greek.
