La chiesa ha una pianta rettangolare absidata, con 2 serie di finestre rettangolari ai lati.
È situato proprio ai piedi di una collina sovrastata dalla torre medievale che ne prende a sua volta il nome (Tor Chiesaccia).
La chiesa, risale probabilmente ai secc. XII-XIII, e faceva parte di un più vasto borgo di cui non rimangono tracce.
