★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa di Santa Agnese a Somma Lombardo fu edificata nel 1474 sul luogo ove sorgevano due piccole chiese, San Fede e Sant'Agnese fatte abbattere nel 1450 da Guido e Francesco Visconti. Presenta una bella facciata con i dipinti del martirio di Santa Agnese e le statue di Sant'Ambrogio e San Carlo Borromeo. Avendola sempre trovata chiusa non sono in grado di descrivere l'interno.
The Church of Santa Agnese in Somma Lombardo was built in 1474 on the site of two small churches, San Fede and Sant'Agnese, which were demolished in 1450 by Guido and Francesco Visconti. It has a beautiful facade with the paintings of the martyrdom of Santa Agnese and the statues of Sant'Ambrogio and San Carlo Borromeo. Having always found it closed, I am unable to describe the interior.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edificio bello sia estremamente che internamente. Bello e bene decorati i quattro altari laterali. Dietro l'altare maggiore la zona del vecchio coro dove sia mirano stupende vetrate raffiguranti la vita della santa patrona Agnese. I due pulpiti e la balconata della corale ornati e ben visibili da tutta la chiesa, particolari i pulpito centrali anticamente riservati alla famiglia Visconti durante le visite al Castello fino al 1997.
Beautiful building both extremely and internally. The four side altars are beautiful and well decorated. Behind the main altar is the area of the old choir where there are wonderful stained glass windows depicting the life of the patron saint Agnes. The two pulpits and the balcony of the choir decorated and clearly visible from the whole church, particularly the central pulpits formerly reserved for the Visconti family during visits to the Castle until 1997.
