★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella e suggestiva. Costruita su una antica basilica paleocristiana e molto sobria all'esterno, risale al XVII secolo. L'interno è arricchito da elementi barocchi. Notevole è il Crocifisso in legno.
Beautiful and evocative. Built on an ancient paleochristian basilica and very sober on the outside, it dates back to the seventeenth century. The interior is enriched with baroque elements. Noteworthy is the wooden Crucifix.

É detta la chiesa degli innamorati e posso confermare perché io stessa ho partecipato ad un matrimonio semplice ma bellissimo. É guidata intelligentemente da un sacerdote giovane che celebra la Messa domenicale alle 11. Consigliatissima.
Small parish next to the Apollo temple, clearly visible from piazza Pancali. It is called the church of lovers and I can confirm why I myself participated in a simple but beautiful wedding. It is intelligently guided by a young priest who celebrates Sunday Mass at 11am. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa di San Paolo la prima chiesa che si incontra entrando in Ortigia. Probabilmente san Paolo venendo a Siracusa dal mare distante pochi centinaia di metri si fermò qui a predicare. Adesso la chiesa è gestita da un giovane parroco chiedete di lui è molto accogliente e dedito ai tanti poveri a cui li da tutto quello che può dare Per farli vivere. Una confessione o uno scambio di battute con lui lasceranno sicuramente il segno. Buona visita

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una piccola chiesa, posta accanto al tempio d' Apollo, vicino al luogo in cui cui approdo' San Paolo, e si fermò per predicare.
Molto sobria all' interno, fu costruita sull' antica basilica paleocristiana, e rifatta nel XVIII secolo. Interessanti i quadri dedicati al martirio di San Paolo e di San Sebastiano.
Visitata di recente, ben tenuta e una comunità religiosa attiva.
