★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di San Bartolomeo occupa una posizione che predomina sull’abitato di Giovi Piegolelle e Giovi San Bartolomeo, su una altura a 265 metri sul livello del mare. La struttura è molto simile alle altre chiese presenti a Giovi: navata unica con pianta rettangolare e campanile a base quadrata a destra della facciata. Dall’ampio piazzale la vista spazia da una fetta di mare a tutte le colline di Giovi sino al monte Giovi sovrastante il rione Marchiafava. Anche questa chiesa appare ristrutturata dopo il terremoto del 1980.
The church of San Bartolomeo occupies a position that dominates the inhabited area of Giovi Piegolelle and Giovi San Bartolomeo, on a hill 265 meters above sea level. The structure is very similar to the other churches in Giovi: a single nave with a rectangular plan and a square-based bell tower to the right of the facade. From the large square the view extends from a slice of the sea to all the hills of Giovi up to Mount Giovi overlooking the Marchiafava district. This church also appears to have been restored after the 1980 earthquake.
