★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antica chiesa bizantina dedicata a San Michele Arcangelo. La struttura fu edificata in una piccola collina nelle vicinanze del primo centro abitato di Forza D'Agrò, chiamato Vicum Agrillae . Dopo la costruzione del luogo di culto, il villaggio venne raso al suolo a causa di una frana della Rocca Scala ma la struttura religiosa non venne nemmeno sfiorata proprio per il suo punto di localizzazione. Dopo quel tragico disastro la chiesa venne abbandonata e lasciata nelle mani della natura. Al tempo di oggi la chiesa è composta da ruderi: alcune mura, feritoie e metà dell'abside. Questo monumento non bisogna sottovalutarlo perché è un perfetto esempio per raccontare le origini del paese Forza D'Agrò.

 Ancient Byzantine church dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel. The structure was built on a small hill near the first inhabited center of Forza D'Agrò, called Vicum Agrillae. After the construction of the place of worship, the village was razed to the ground due to a landslide of the Rocca Scala but the religious structure was not even touched precisely because of its location. After that tragic disaster the church was abandoned and left in the hands of nature. At the present time the church is made up of ruins: some walls, loopholes and half of the apse. This monument should not be underestimated because it is a perfect example to tell the origins of the Forza D'Agrò town.
