★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie è una chiesa rinascimentale di Campi Salentina, in provincia di Lecce, risalente al 1579. In origine esisteva un edificio databile al XIV secolo. Dalla prima metà del XVII secolo il luogo di culto conobbe l'avvento del barocco che sostituì gli originari elementi architettonici del Cinquecento. E' una chiesa bellissima e ben tenuta con i suoi altari, tutti in stile barocco e realizzati in pietra leccese. Per chi si trovi in zona, consiglio una visita.
The church of Santa Maria delle Grazie is a Renaissance church in Campi Salentina, in the province of Lecce, dating back to 1579. Originally there was a building dating from the fourteenth century. From the first half of the seventeenth century the place of worship experienced the advent of the Baroque which replaced the original architectural elements of the sixteenth century. It is a beautiful and well-kept church with its altars, all in Baroque style and made of Lecce stone. For those in the area, I recommend a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nella bella piazza di Campi, la chiesa è visibilmente di impianto cinquecentesco, anche se nel tempo ha subito modificazioni di diverse epoche e stile che non sempre ne hanno aumentato la bellezza. Curioso il campanile, apparentemente mozzato da un qualche crollo avvenuto chissà quando. L'interno, frutto di tipici restauri di fine ottocento, non regge affatto la bellezza delle applicazioni e decorazioni barocche dell'esterno. Qui, la versatilità del tufo leccese, raggiunge il massimo splendore con il portale d'ingresso e il rosone magnifico.
