★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa ospita nell'area absidale un vasto ciclo di affreschi, massimo capolavoro del pittore friulano Gianfrancesco da Tolmezzo. Molto buono lo stato di conservazione dei dipinti. Purtroppo, però, la chiesa è stata totalmente aggiornata all'inizio dell'ottocento e di originale mantiene solo l'area presbiteriale con gli affreschi, mentre l'ampia aula, dominata da un sobrio candore che contrasta con i colori vivaci dei dipinti, è di età neoclassica.
 The church houses a vast cycle of frescoes in the apse area, the greatest masterpiece of the Friulian painter Gianfrancesco da Tolmezzo. The state of conservation of the paintings is very good. Unfortunately, however, the church was totally updated at the beginning of the nineteenth century and retains only the presbytery area with the frescoes, while the large hall, dominated by a sober candor that contrasts with the bright colors of the paintings, is of neoclassical age.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa viene edificata nel 1392 e successivamente, nel XV secolo viene ampliata, affrescata e vengono realizzate diverse opere scultoree. Ulteriori ristrutturazioni vengono realizzate nelXIX secolo e danno alla chiesa l'attuale aspetto neoclassico.
Il vero tesoro di questa chiesa è costituito dagli affreschi che si possono vedere all'interno e che risalgono a metà del 1500.
Sono per lo più opere di Gianfrancesco da Tolmezzo (1496). Due opere, datate 1511 e 1513 sono state realizzate da Pietro da San Vito.
Come molte altre chiese di questa parte del Friuli anche San Leonardo costituisce un tassello del movimento artistico rinascimentale, da visitare assolutamente.
The church was built in 1392 and later, in the 15th century, it was enlarged, frescoed and various sculptures were made. Further renovations were carried out in the nineteenth century and gave the church its current neoclassical appearance.
The true treasure of this church consists of the frescoes that can be seen inside and that date back to the mid-1500s.
They are mostly works by Gianfrancesco da Tolmezzo (1496). Two works, dated 1511 and 1513, were made by Pietro da San Vito.
Like many other churches in this part of Friuli, San Leonardo also constitutes a piece of the Renaissance artistic movement, to be visited absolutely.
