★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa situata a Gaio di Spilimbergo, all interno del cimitero.Edificio risalente al XV secolo.Molto bello il portale in pietra di Giovanni Antonio Pilacorte dominato dal leone di San Marco.All interno della Chiesa è possibile ammirare una delle prime opere del Pordenone raffigurante il Padre Eterno ed i simboli dei quattro Evangelisti.Curioso notare che la facciata è statarialzata.Particolari le due finestre in alabastro.
Church located in Gaio di Spilimbergo, inside the cemetery. Building dating back to the 15th century. The stone portal by Giovanni Antonio Pilacorte dominated by the lion of San Marco is very beautiful. Inside the Church it is possible to admire one of the first works by Pordenone depicting the Eternal Father and the symbols of the four Evangelists. Curious to note that the façade has been raised.

Vi si trova la Chiesa di S. Marco con il portale datato 14 ottobre 1490 ed eseguito da Giovanni Antonio Pilacorte.
Sulla facciata sono emersi affreschi del primo Cinquecento (Madonna in trono con Bambino e due Santi entro un’edicola e tre angioletti musicanti alla sommità); all'interno, la cupola del coro è affrescata con l'Eterno Padre con gli angeli ed i simboli degli Evangelisti. Opera attribuita a Giovanni Antonio Pordenone (inizio XVI secolo).
The name is of Lombard origin and meant "land banished" or "wood reserved for feudal lords".
There is the Church of S. Marco with the portal dated 14 October 1490 and executed by Giovanni Antonio Pilacorte.
On the façade emerged frescoes from the early sixteenth century (Enthroned Madonna with Child and two Saints within a newsstand and three little angels playing music at the top); inside, the dome of the choir is frescoed with the Eternal Father with the angels and the symbols of the Evangelists. Work attributed to Giovanni Antonio Pordenone (early 16th century).
